Join me as I share my experience from living in captivity, physically and spiritually. I also share my journey of recovering from the experience of being locked away from society, quietly literally, to the aftermath - a life after lived in rebellion where bitterness, anger, resentment, and unforgiveness took their toll. Where addictions, depression, and despair swallowed me alive. I share my experience of being set free as an adult to navigate a world I did not know, nor was I prepared for. I went from being lost, physically and spiritually, to being restored and made whole through the transformative power of Christ Jesus. He was the only One who could save me! The only One who was able to break off addictions and take my burdens.
"From Captivity to Wholeness: A Journey of Redemption and Restoration"
Growing up under the control of an abusive father with twisted addictions, my childhood was one of captivity—constantly on the run, hidden from the world. As I grew older, I longed for freedom. But even after my release, I realized that the emotional and spiritual chains of my past continued to bind me, leading to deep struggles as an adult in an unfamiliar world.
At my lowest, I called out to God for help, and Jesus responded. He broke the chains of addiction, anger, and unforgiveness, bringing healing and restoring every broken piece of my life. This isn’t just a story of survival—it's a testament to how Jesus can transform ashes into beauty. No matter where you are, there is hope, there is healing, and you are never alone. Jesus is waiting at the...</video:description><video:player_loc>https://yeshua.video/videos/embed/a1953127-29b0-4785-9d1f-1535270f729e</video:player_loc></video:video></url><url><loc>https://yeshua.video/w/hVR58cNCNHdEHKSzW5cg8U</loc><video:video><video:thumbnail_loc>https://yeshua.video/lazy-static/thumbnails/960fc5da-74dc-4140-b86b-22e1f94d09a3.jpg</video:thumbnail_loc><video:title>Where would I be without Jesus? Addiction. Part 1</video:title><video:description>The wages of sin is death. Those wages we earn by our choices. Our actions. And my actions made me an enemy of God. Yet, looking back, I can see His mercy and grace in my life. His kindness and compassion. His sustaining power. He went to every length to keep me out of the pit. I know this now, having been rescued and pulled out of that cyclic trap where I was a blind “dead man walking”.

I was stuck in my ways. Literally, I was standing in my own way where self was in control. Without giving my life over to Jesus, the self – my mind, body, and soul was on the highway to hell as there are only two paths we can follow. God or the world. When in the world, we tend to search down every avenue but His in a never-ending cycle of feeding the flesh in the hopes of peace and rest. I desperately needed saving! I am so thankful that Jesus never gave up on me!

“Come to Me, all you who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest. Take My yoke upon you and learn from Me, for I am gentle and humble in heart, and you will find rest for your souls. For My yoke is easy and My burden is light.” Matthew 11:28-30

Adultery. Part 2.</video:title><video:description>I thought I would take parts of my testimony and break it into segments showing some of the things Jesus saved me from. And show that not even in my most shameful moments did He ever let me go. I've spent most of my life being hard-headed and hard-hearted. And though it took a while for reality to sink in, it's very sobering to think about where I would be if I did not have Jesus.

Spiritually speaking, whatever we obey is our master. "Do you not know to whom you are offering yourselves as servants under obedience? You are the servants of whomever you obey: whether of sin, unto death, or of obedience, unto righteousness." Romans 6:16. It's our choice. Thankfully, God, in His great mercy, made provision for our salvation. Thankfully, He never gave up on me!

"Now, most people would not be willing to die for an upright person, though someone might perhaps be willing to die for a person who is especially good. But God proves His love for us in this: While we were still sinners, Christ died for us." Romans 5:8</video:description><video:player_loc>https://yeshua.video/videos/embed/0d4a746c-242a-4760-bc04-684f3dff850b</video:player_loc></video:video></url><url><loc>https://yeshua.video/w/wUnn7szRYE8oLzebk4tHvV</loc><video:video><video:thumbnail_loc>https://yeshua.video/lazy-static/thumbnails/6ef52ecc-f386-43ed-8026-52ddd6f13111.jpg</video:thumbnail_loc><video:title>Where would I be without Jesus? Unforgiveness. Part 3.</video:title><video:description>Let me start out by saying that my life should serve as a warning to others in that the path I chose led me to a cliff. If it hadn't been for Jesus intervening, comforting, and saving me, there would have been no hope for me!

Because of my poor choices, I had many rock bottoms throughout my life, but will focus on one instance here where God showed up. Being plagued with depression, thoughts of suicide, and never-ending insomnia, I had hit a new low in the spring of 2012. At my end and completely frustrated, I cried out to God.

My life was not right with God as I was a lukewarm Christian, nor did I have a relationship with Him, but in desperation, I asked to know why I did not have the peace and rest He promises to those who accept Him. Yes, I called myself a Christian, not knowing what it meant to be born again. Anyway. I cried out, "Tell me what I am doing wrong and how to fix it! Help me!” Not more than a week or so later, God's reply came, but not how I ever imagined...</video:description><video:player_loc>https://yeshua.video/videos/embed/fa42007a-4300-4d36-8050-699151efb5d3</video:player_loc></video:video></url><url><loc>https://yeshua.video/w/uQSnppqXob3eonQyvP836Y</loc><video:video><video:thumbnail_loc>https://yeshua.video/lazy-static/thumbnails/43d5267c-d418-4d19-9bbc-017e92147967.jpg</video:thumbnail_loc><video:title>Where would I be without Jesus? Unfaithfulness. Part 5.</video:title><video:description>I'm taking clips of my testimony to go a little deeper on to show what Jesus has saved me from. I'm going to just start out by saying that I lived a lifetime of darkness, and it took forever for me to come to Christ. I really pressed my luck in waiting! I desperately needed saving as I was sinking lower and lower in sin. Suffice to say, I was lost. Blown about by the winds as they would say.

To give those who are new to my channel a glimpse to my ever progressing depravity, I had shared in Part 2 how I had committed adultery, and how after falling in cyclic behavior of adultery and sexual immorality, that my life really started unraveling.

Also, I had shared how God was trying to get my attention by opening my eyes to see into the spiritual realm, where I saw an entity come through my window as a result of my adultery. You would think that that would have woken me up!

Thankfully, Jesus never gave up on me. He was the only One who got through and has saved me from so much.

Thoughts and Actions &amp; Their Devastating Power. Part 6.</video:title><video:description>"The tongue has the power of life and death, and those who love it will eat its fruit." Proverbs 18:21

So, I've been dragging my feet on sharing one of the most devastating examples in my life of how words have power. And though my life is littered with negative thoughts and actions, along with their consequences that have shaped my life. It's just so horrible and reflects on my level of depravity and carelessness. Join me as I share parts of my testimony in this series to unpack topic by topic, exposing the skeletons in my closet and showing how Jesus stepped in and saved me from myself.

"Watch your thoughts for they become words, watch your words for they become actions, watch your actions, for they become habits, watch your habits for they become your character, watch your character for it becomes your destiny." - Lao Tzu</video:description><video:player_loc>https://yeshua.video/videos/embed/4c43ae2c-26c9-4adc-9470-e030de9e5c06</video:player_loc></video:video></url><url><loc>https://yeshua.video/w/qQMGnuU8QuVMcxPKrjEuiq</loc><video:video><video:thumbnail_loc>https://yeshua.video/lazy-static/thumbnails/113534fa-0296-481a-90d3-17de6c3edf08.jpg</video:thumbnail_loc><video:title>Where would I be without Jesus? Anger and Resentment. Part 7.</video:title><video:description>"He who is slow to anger is better than a warrior, and he who controls his temper is greater than one who captures a city." Proverbs 16:32

I wanted to share another blip of my testimony about what Jesus has saved me from. My intent is to share even more than in my original testimony with this series. Today is regarding anger and resentment. It's a big problem in the world, and I was its poster child. I had a lot of reasons to be angry and resentful. But who am I to hold onto seeing Jesus forgave me? Yes, I was left with deep wounds from those who hurt me, but my sins left deep wounds in Jesus. He loved me before I loved Him! I was without hope when He saved me, and I am forever grateful! There is no problem too big for God to solve. No hurt that He can't heal. No sin is too grievous for Him to forgive. If He can save me, He can save anyone!

Let all bitterness and wrath and anger and clamor and slander be put away from you, along with all malice. Be kind to one another, tenderhearted, forgiving one another, as God in Christ forgave you. Ephesians 4:31–32</video:description><video:player_loc>https://yeshua.video/videos/embed/c92b30a3-1761-40e0-97f0-a0fa6a6010d2</video:player_loc></video:video></url><url><loc>https://yeshua.video/w/cF9E6iWv7Qzr173Kzu5Xfe</loc><video:video><video:thumbnail_loc>https://yeshua.video/lazy-static/thumbnails/7f4720c9-df88-4dd6-b763-e0f73fec774a.jpg</video:thumbnail_loc><video:title>Where would I be without Jesus? Mental Fantasies. Part 8.</video:title><video:description>In going more in-depth with my testimony, I want to share all that Jesus has saved me from. I had previously done episodes on thoughts and actions - the power of words and how they affected and shaped my life. But I wanted to peel back yet another layer of my life on this subject, as while it is along the same lines, this one might not be as obvious to some as an issue with its hidden dangers and what could stem from it. There is nothing wrong with a healthy imagination as some experts say creativity relies on imagination.

But as with anything else, there's a fine line between having a healthy imagination and the slippery slope of nurturing an offshoot of such, to levels of reliance, as the world of fantasy becomes addictive to where it can get out of control, leading to a corrupted and perverse mind.

But each one is tempted when by his own evil desires he is lured away and enticed. Then after desire has conceived, it gives birth to sin; and sin, when it is full-grown, gives birth to death. (James 1:14-15)

You were taught, with regard to your former way of life, to put off your former way of life, your old self, which is being corrupted by its deceitful desires; to be renewed in the spirit of your minds; and to put on the new self, created to be like God in true righteousness and holiness. (Ephesians 4:22-24)

Sexual Immorality &amp; Self-Harm. Part 4.</video:title><video:description>1 Cor 6:13-20, “…The body is not meant for sexual immorality, but for the Lord, and the Lord for the body. And God raised the Lord and will also raise us up by his power. Do you not know that your bodies are members of Christ? Shall I then take the members of Christ and make them members of a prostitute? Never! Or do you not know that he who is joined to a prostitute becomes one body with her? For, as it is written, “The two will become one flesh.” But he who is joined to the Lord becomes one spirit with Him. Flee from sexual immorality. Every other sin a person commits is outside the body, but the sexually immoral person sins against his own body. Or do you not know that your body is a temple of the Holy Spirit within you, whom you have from God? You are not your own, for God bought you with a high price. So you must honor God with your body.”

“Let us hold fast the confession of our hope without wavering, for He who promised is faithful.” Hebrews 10:23

“For by grace ye are saved, through faith: and this not of yourselves; it is the gift of God: not by works, that no one may boast”. Ephesians 2:8

Can our promises from God be forfeited or delayed? Yes. But God is faithful and merciful and will go to the furthest length to try and deliver those promises. His love is so great! We may fail God, but He never fails us and truly tries till utter rejection of Him through stubborn unbelief. Let's not delay any longer and grab hold of Him and His promises!</video:description><video:player_loc>https://yeshua.video/videos/embed/02c6a074-e355-4a5b-ab01-9e8db5e0b7b2</video:player_loc></video:video></url><url><loc>https://yeshua.video/w/kPXV9RzXG92pcUnyQTHtZT</loc><video:video><video:thumbnail_loc>https://yeshua.video/lazy-static/thumbnails/016f37b5-64ab-42fe-a2ec-76adb0b8ac71.jpg</video:thumbnail_loc><video:title>When a Nation Forgets God: King Manasseh’s Leadership and the Divine Reversal</video:title><video:description>The example of King Manasseh’s life and how one person’s influence could derail a nation highlights the importance of godly leadership, and of course models the impact on an individual level to those around us. Manasseh’s life also serves to demonstrate the mighty power of God to orchestrate just judgment amidst His great mercy and compassion towards genuine repentance with humility. The history of Judah should further serve as a wake-up call to our generation that, as loving and patient as God is, there comes a time when the cup of iniquity is filled to where He can no longer overlook unrepentant sin. And in His righteousness, God has to act in an attempt to call us back to the only path leading to eternal life with Him.

The conviction that the cross brings does not give us the warm fuzzies or tickle our ears, but is sobering as it cuts to the heart.

The message of the cross shows the seriousness of sin and its consequences.

The cross and what it represents serves as a reality check that sheds light on two eternal destinies that we freely choose.

The message of the cross defies human logic causing offense, and is considered foolish to those who have hardened hearts blinded by sin.

The message of the cross does not boost our self-image, affirm us in sin, or encourage pride, but is humbling.

The cross openly proclaims that we are sinful, and that our corrupt acts cost the precious life of the innocent Son of God, our Creator.

The cross compels us to admit that none of us are good enough, and that without Christ’ stepping into humanity to intervene, and suffering the penalty for us, there would be no hope for us.

The message of the cross implies a need of dying to self and surrender to fully embrace Jesus in order to live life to the fullest – a message that makes no sense to some.

A little about me: It took me decades to come to Christ after a life of sin and straight-up rebellion following a childhood devoid of love and filled with betrayal and abandonment. It took me forever to realize that there is only One who can fulfill us and satisfy. One who knows all our dirty laundry yet loves us more than anyone. There is only One who can help us overcome all that we have tried to over and over on our own, yet failed. Yes, He's that faithful good! We serve an awesome powerful God and He is at the door of our hearts knocking.

Highlighting foolish leadership and the consequences of leaning on our own understanding instead of seeking the wisdom of God. Though he inherited the judgment of a divided kingdom, consequences for Solomon's idolatry, Rehoboam could have changed the trajectory of the nation's future by staying in God's will by actively seeking Him to stay in relationship and in covenant. The blessing for obedience and seeking God with all his heart could have brought prosperity and an enduring kingdom despite setbacks. Though prophecy was fulfilled through his foolish leadership, it is possible that the judgment could have been delayed, as it was during Solomon's life. But instead, he set in motion not only a kingdom divided, but a kingdom fallen - one that was headed for exile due to blatant defiance of God, despite seeing and experiencing the results of such rebellion firsthand by his father's example.

Let me start with saying that if God calls us to do something, He will enable, empower, and equip us. It is God who works through us. It's His power and strength!

I share my experience with a 30-day fast and prayer for healing. There is power in Jesus' name and power in His blood! I am no one special, nor am I highly experienced, as my journey to faith and trust in God is relatively recent, having been saved a year and a half ago. But it is God who does the work. Why do we need to pray then? Freewill. He desires to work in us and through us. And in prayer, we even ask that His Holy Spirit work through us. God does the work! He is so good.</video:description><video:player_loc>https://yeshua.video/videos/embed/ec0cd973-01dc-4d7f-a32d-4bf4a987d766</video:player_loc></video:video></url><url><loc>https://yeshua.video/c/root_channel/videos</loc></url><url><loc>https://yeshua.video/c/traffickedtotriumph/videos</loc></url><url><loc>https://yeshua.video/a/peertube/video-channels</loc></url><url><loc>https://yeshua.video/a/root/video-channels</loc></url><url><loc>https://yeshua.video/a/trafficked/video-channels</loc></url></urlset>
